The Moon, Mars, and Two Clusters!

Hey, Sky Fans!

Just a quick post today. It was a gorgeous night around here last night, so I headed out and that Moon-Mars-Hyades-Pleiades deal was even more stunning than I expected, and I was expecting a lot.

Here’s a quick photo I grabbed of it at arond 10 PM EDT:

Can you see everyone? No? Well, here’s the same photo again in Fresh Ocean Mist:

If you missed it last night, don’t worry, you can still watch for the next couple of nights. The Moon is crossing the Winter Hexagon again as it grows toward full, and Mars is sticking aorund the neighborhood, too.

I hope you have a great weekend and can take a few minutes to look up.

Clear skies, everyone!
