Hey, everyone. After this long and very wintry day, the storm ended, moved away, and left behind only the thinest of clouds far off to south. I stepped out into the cold for a minute. The sight of the waxing gibbous moon, on the setting side of tonight’s journey, Orion, Sirius, and rest of the bright stars of the Winter Circle burning over a few inches of fresh and untouched snow was a sight of such tremendous beauty that I wanted to take a late minute to share it with you.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of it. The best I can do is put up this blurry one, of a guinea pig with a red ping pong ball on its head.
I hope everyone’s safe and warm. Clear skies, everyone. It’s a gorgeous one tonight.
